WELCOME...
To TCVS Community Development Project the Project has been running
since 2001 and is currently funded by the Big Lottery and is open to
ALL Tendring residents.
Community Development
The Project works
directly with local residents in the following ways;

Encouraging them to take part in local activities
v
Identify their training needs
v
Offering volunteering opportunities
v
We hold
FREE informal events locally such as Coffee mornings
v
Information drop in sessions
v
Fun
days and other events where local people can take part in fun
activities and find out information.
Funding and Development
The project offers
advice guidance and information to voluntary/community groups;

Constitutions
v
Charitable status
v
Policies, practices and quality standards
v
Identifying funding opportunities
v
Provides volunteers training which is structured to the needs of
voluntary/community groups.
v
Organise events at which groups are able to promote themselves
v
Organise events at which groups can access information (e.g. meet
the funders)
